MOON BIN (문빈)

Moon Bin (문빈) was born on January 26, 1998 at Cheogju, South Korea. He started modelling for children’s apparels at the age of 9 years old. He also appeared on a Samsung CF when he was young. He is known for taking the role of the young Seo Yi Jeong on the television drama, Boys Over Flowers. He is notably known as one of the Mini-DBSK who appeared on DBSK’s Balloons Music Video and their appearance on Star King. He was the mini U-know Yunho.

Before he officially debuted with the boy group Astro, he and the other members of Astro appeared on a web drama titled, To Be Continued. On February 23, 2016, he officially debuted with Astro with the Album Spring Up. They have since released albums and won on music shows.

In 2019, he made a television drama comeback with Moments of 18 as Jeong Oh Je. He also joined the cast of Food Avengers. In November the same year, it was announced that he will go on hiatus due to mental health issues. Even though he participated on the recording for both Blue Flame and the special album, One & Only, the Gateway album marked his return to promotions.

The following year 2020, he starred as the male lead of the two seasons of Mermaid Prince, and debuted in a sub-unit with fellow Astro member, Sanha. The unit became the fastest sub-unit to earn a music show win.

In 2021, He was announced to be joining the cast of SNL2.
